Effective September 17, 2026 · Orbit 1.0
Orbit is a Mac break reminder made by Rajesh Ray. It works locally on your Mac. The app does not send your activity or settings to us.
What stays on your Mac
Orbit saves your preferred work interval and break duration in the app’s local settings. It uses elapsed time and macOS’s aggregate time since the last keyboard or mouse input to pause its timer when you step away. Work-session timing is held in memory and resets when you quit the app.
Orbit does not read the content of your keystrokes, record your screen, inspect your documents, or keep a history of the apps or websites you use. When a break begins, it temporarily remembers the frontmost app so it can return focus afterward; this is not stored or transmitted.
No accounts, ads, or analytics
Orbit has no sign-in, advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking SDKs. The app makes no network requests. Apple handles the App Store download and any system diagnostics according to Apple’s own policies and your settings.
If you contact support
If you email iamrajesh350@gmail.com, Rajesh Ray receives the information you choose to include and uses it to respond to your request. Support email is handled by the email providers involved. Avoid including sensitive information that is not needed to explain the issue. You may request deletion of support correspondence.
Your choices
You can pause reminders or quit Orbit from its menu-bar icon. You can change its local preferences in the Orbit window. Quitting clears the current in-memory work-session timer. Orbit does not maintain an online account or cloud activity history.
Changes and questions
This policy will be updated if the app’s data practices change. For privacy questions or support, email iamrajesh350@gmail.com.
These support pages
These pages contain no advertising or custom analytics. The hosting provider may process standard request metadata to deliver and protect the website. This is separate from the Orbit app, which does not send network requests.
